Legacy
Celebration

Set across the historic fleet of the Maritime Museum of San Diego, the Legacy Celebration was a one-night immersive journey honoring the timeless spirit of exploration. A tribute to elders, wayfinders, and guardians of knowledge, the gathering invited guests to step into a living story shaped by legacy, redemption, and renewal — an evening of remembrance and reverence, celebrating where we have come from, what we carry forward, and the future we are creating together.

At the heart of the experience stood the legendary Star of India — a vessel that has crossed oceans, cultures, and centuries. Its presence carried echoes of global navigation traditions and a meaningful connection to New Zealand, Andrew Cardno's place of birth, where wayfinding and ancestral wisdom remain deeply honored. Across multiple ships, guests moved through symbolic realms of ocean folklore and fantasy, encountering performers, musicians, and intimate moments of storytelling and ritual.
